These are pictures from when I was in Easter Island for five days, a small island five hours away by plane from Chile. It is considered one of the most remote areas in the world, and it is incredibly beautiful. Unfortunately, my camera broke mid-way through Easter Island, so I only have pictures of the first day. There are also pictures of Santiago, Chile.
Getting off the plane to Easter Island
Welcome to Easter Island!! (or ‘La Isla de Pascuas’ in Spanish)
The wildlife here is unbelievable.
Three lovely travelers who I bunked with in Easter Island.
Easter Island is incredibly famous for their moai statues
I have never seen such green glass, such a blue sea…
Sitting here all afternoon, I felt a million miles away from everyone, and everything. It was amazing.
An awesome Asian tourist stops to pose in front of the Moai
So do I.

I’m so happy that you enjoyed your time in my homeland, Chile. Not many people like it there but I’m glad to see you did! Great pictures and great blog!
